What I Learned in 6th Grade Today...

I love volunteering in my daughter's classroom, as well as having the opportunity to visit other teachers' classrooms.  Today I was introduced to an album by the artist of Jackie Evancho.  I learned she is 11 years old and has an amazing voice!  Thank you, 6th graders, for teaching me about your music interests.

Whitney is getting to be such a grown up young lady. We had a great time hanging out at the mall together waiting for Shelby to get off work.

"Morning" Dove

This morning was a beautiful clear day and we were treated with a little cooing from a mourning dove. These doves rarely perch in the trees, so this was also a unique sight. We miss the sounds of Jordann's doves, but not the mess!
